Acer palmatum arakawa from seedling 1 liter pot

Description

Young plant in a plastic pot that comes from seedlings of 4 years old, repoted at Autumn 2015 in a 1-liter pot only. Height depending on the subject: from 30 to 40 cm. Diameter of the trunk: about 6/8 mm at the collar. Straight trunk, little ramified.

Pinky green foliage on the budding, dark green during Summer, and fire red/orange during Autumn.

Fast growth, splendid cork-like bark from the 4th or the 5th year. Often used as a bonsaï. Good resistance to the sun.
